We went for dinner at Lake Geneva's famous place Popeyes. We love there soup, and rolls.

Elle liked swimming as long as you held her tight. She needed to be kept warm!

We went with the girls to Lake Geneva and went on Sam's boat . Melissa got to drive so she was thrilled. I spent Monday and Tuesday with Christine's daughters. We had such a good time together. Melissa has a boyfriend so she told me all about him. It was so nice have two extra pairs of hands.

The girls said Elle has the cutiest clothes but she wears all dresses. So here she is in a capris.

These are the many faces of Ellie bellie. She is such a good girl. She lets you know exactly what she needs. When she is tired she rubs her eyes and when she is hunger she puts her hands to her mouth. Besides that she is taking everything in, you can tell her brain is constantly going.

Elle and Hans play together so well. Just occasionally I need to remind Hans that he needs to be gentle. I am so thankful that I have such sweet kids. Also that Hans is so thoughtful.

Ellie has loves to roll around. I have to put pillows all around her. If I didn't she would roll right off of everything.

Auntie Dorothy, Grandma and Great Grandma came up yesterday. We had a wonderful time together. Every time auntie Dorothy comes up she has gifts for us. I got a beautiful flower, Elle got a little tykes stuffed animal and Hans was given this bath coloring kit. Dorothy said he will love it, but sorry Karin. Dorothy I love it too! He spent almost three hours in the tub. After I got tired of sitting waiting for him I drained the tub and he stayed in there and was all colorful an hour later I refilled the bath. Then we waited for daddy to get home. Before Hans got out he erased all the color and he left the bath tub clean. We also ordered pictures from the photo shoot a few weeks back. Wow that place was expensive the large packages cost more than my wedding pictures, but they had taken some cute pictures.

It was amazing Hans hadn't seen Dorothy for three + months and the minute he saw her he gave her the toy vaccuum so they could have races down the hall. He is so smart like that. He knows where to put the dishes when we unload the dish washer. He can tell Mark where things go.

I have been working with Kirsten on Jewelry so I decided I should make some for myself. I have been getting so many compliments on what I wear. I am glad people like our designs.
Every time you talk to Elle she gets so happy and pulls her dress over her face.
Hans had fun playing with Derek and Kyle. We went over for Melissa and Brit's bday party. I didn't know what the girls would like so I let them pick a purse and earings. They said they liked it better cause they got what they wanted.

Elle has such beautiful clothes, every time auntie Kirsten sees her she has so many beautiful clothes. It has been my project lately to organize and figure out where to store all the clothes for her and Hans, since we are not sure if we are having more kids I don't know if I should get rid of the clothes that are to small for them.

Elle fell sound asleep while Dana and I watched the boys play at the park. Dana and I were going to take the boys to safety town since it was closed we went to the park here are some pics of the boys at the park.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!! Yesterday we went down to Grandma's to celebrate moms b-day. We went swimming at Shirley's for the day. Then went to silverado's for dinner. My mom said she couldn't have had a better day her kids and grand kids were all there. Also Auntie Patti and Grete came along. It was nice for mom to see everyone. We all got her some beautiful clothes.
Hans gave auntie Kim and uncle Erik a hug goodbye. I know that he misses seeing them as much as he used to. He gets excited when they come around and he doesn't like when they leave. It is nice because they are a big help with the kids which I appreciate especially when Mark has to work.

I took out of the attic some more baby stuff for Elle. I took out the baby Bumbo seat with the tray and Hans decided he wanted to eat in it and didn't want to get in his booster seat. Hans has been really making me wonder. At home he is starting to talk, but when we go places it seems that he is to distracted to use his words. I can realize that there is a huge difference in boys and girls Hans talk only when he wants to and needs something where as Elle already seems to be always talking.

We are always told Ellie looks like a little Hans. I am not sure what I think. Personality wise they are both so easy. I didn't think that I could ever get a better baby than Hans, but Ellie is. The only thing is she make more noise. She is constantly talking. Oh a girl. What a difference! Hans constantly played. Last night we went to Rick and Ria's for dinner and she talked and sat there perfectly while Hans played with Daddy and the neighborhood kids.

Well I this past week we went to Kirstens and I left my camera there. While we were there we went to the clubhouse and went swimming. We also went to Morris to my favorite kids clothes store. I didn't break the bank this time I only came home from this trip with a couple of outfits. We also went to the Illinois river and hung out for a few hours. Then on Friday we headed to Elmhurst and made a stop at auntie Shirls. Hans was a little nervous about swimming but by the end he was jumping in.

Please pray for the Engbers family with their loss of their sister/ daughter. My friend Sheri from childhood passed away this weekend from Cancer. She will be missed. Although she is out of pain and now rejoined in heaven with her mother. Sheri was fun loving and had so much energy. She made me laugh. Sheri, Marlene and I spent ever waking moment together when we were 15. It was the best summer of my teenage years. I am thankful that we reconnected these past few years, and her positive attitude through everything.

Hans gave us assigned spots for our dancathon. He is a huge Toby Mac fan so we put on his live concert and got down to the music.

It is the beginning of the month so we went to Home Depot so Hans could build. Although Mark and I had a project too so we picked up a table saw.

We went for a hike with Sam, Kirsten and the boys to conference point on Lake Geneva. Aurora University now owns it. It is probably the school I would attend for my Doctorate.

Hans liked being at uncle Sam's cottage. He picked blackberries and got covered in them. We will be spending more time there this summer.


Wednesday we had a photographer come to the house and take picture of Elle. She was in her model mode even after hours of having her picture taken.
Hans loves playing in his water sand table him and Andrew spent most of there time playing in it this week.

On the 4th we went to Lake Geneva. Hans had a blast with all of his cousins. We love getting together with them. Even more so now that Hans is getting older. The boys spent the day collecting bugs.

We went out to the toy store and Hans got to pick out a few things. Then I picked out some things I thought he would like I saw the tmx Elmo. He loves it but so does Elle. They both laugh when it is on. Although I am not always sure if Elle is laughing at Hans or Elmo.

This week we got Hans a boat bed. He absolutely loves it! Although when we asked him what bed he wanted to sleep in he never responded because he didn't want to go to bed. When we finally asked him if he wants to go ninite he said no. He is our little night owl, which will have to change soon.
