What do I do? Well Hans has decided this year to start crying when Mark drops him off in the morning. Now Mark want me to drop him off. I don't think I could leave him crying I will never get to work on time if I do. Things have been insanely hectic with work and I am not even sure how I am going to get my masters work done. I need to put in 100 hours for my masters so during my free time I go to the deans office, so officially I have completed 4 hours/ 96 more to go! It has been fun! The more that I am in there I realize that I would like to be dean.

Yesterday I took the kids to Elmhurst for a baby shower. A neighbor kid babysat Hans and Elle came with. Here is Elle in a pic with auntie Kim. I hung out with Kim the whole time. The shower was for my cousin Bryan and his wife Rachel. She is pregnant with twins, so she is on bed rest and was unable to go. After Kim left to go meet Erik, Hans came over to go swimming the poor kids face looked like a war zone. When he woke up he looked like he had been in a fight. When he got to Shirls to me it looked like a chemical burn, other people thought poison ivy. We had doctor Brent look at it and he said it wasn't poison Ivy. When I got home I determined it was from a Mr. Clean magic eraser. I found it with the Johnson soapy wash cloth. He must have used it to wash his cheeks like I do after he eats. I always give him his baths, and check to make sure nothing dangerous is in there because he is always putting electronic toys in his bath cubby. Mark gave him his bath and didn't realize that, so we will have to be more careful.
On Friday, Mark and I were able to spend the evening together. We went for a walk to see what house my union presidents daughter is moving into. This year I am on a cart teaching bio and chem so one of the rooms I am in is the union pres. room. He told me his daughter is moving into the same subdivision as me. That will be nice because she has a son a little younger than Hans.
Off to work Friday morning, it was a difficult week. I appreciate all the prayers by Friday I could definently tell people were praying for me.
On Tuesday people stopped by to see how work was going. Hans was excited to have everyone stop by. Although he got in TROUBLE. He dumped a bucket of sand on Derek's head. Luckily Derek thought it was funny. Also when Dana and Andrew came by he was happy to see them. He now can say their names. Hans didn't seem to mind me being gone he had so much fun playing at Christine's house.

It official I am back teaching! This was my first full week back with students. This year will be interesting. It is a little different leaving two kids and a little harder getting them ready so I can be to work on time. Also this week I met my masters advisor and she said I am pretty much done with my action research. That is about 100 pages of stress released.

Last week we took Hans to the Star Wars movie down at Steve's theatre in Woodridge. As you can see he had fun his eyes were glued to the screen.

Sunday the 17th Hans woke up and I was in the guest room going through all the extra clothes Hans and Elle never wore. It is also where we put tons of toys for gifts. Hans walked in and saw the electronic dinosaur and box full of different types of dinosaurs. He kept saying please mama. So I told him go and find Daddy and ask him. As you can see he got his way, although he was very persistent at getting Mark to come upstairs.

A little over a week ago, I spent all the time I could with Hans before I started work. He mostly wanted to play in his playroom with his kitchen. We also got a huge watermelon and he ate most of it. Then on the 14th I headed back to work, also on that day Hans got a haircut. His hair was always in his eyes.

We were all dressed up cause went to Denis and Karen's wedding. It was such a beautiful ceremony. It was held at Napersettlement in the chapel and then the reception was at Timpani's restaurant in Naperville. The food was so good! It was our first time out just the two of us since Elle was born. Grandma took a few pictures of us by her house.
We were in the car sitting on the expressway due to an accident so I took all kinds of pictures. We just got a new camera and I want to test it out to make sure I like it. Mark gave Best Buy his notice so we picked up everything we needed. Since Kirsten still hasn't found my camera, we thought Mark should get me one. (Friday night Best Buy asked Mark to stay on as seasonal help, and that way he could still get the discount. We will see?)

Karen and her two best friends. We sat with Laura and Chris her boyfriend and had such a good time. We all really have a good time together and Denis fits right in.

Mark and I at Napersettlement

Levi was dropped off Friday to play with Hans while Kirsten took Luke to Great America. Hans also got to play with Derek, Kyle, Hans and Andrew.
Evan and Hans had a great time jumping down the stairs. Evan would jump from the top stair all the way down and Hans thought he was going to try but luckily he decided he wasn't big enough.

This week we went to Lake Geneva for auntie Flo's birthday. Hans was thrilled playing with his cousins. They ran around and had such a good time.

Hans, Ellie and I brought some dinners for Ethelyn, Dana and the kids. I got to hold the babies. They are so tiny. I am not used to babies so small, but thankfully they are gaining weight quickly.
Hans and Christian spent time tackling Dana, but when they weren't playing Christian was kissing Elle. He just loves her! It is so funny. All the boys are constantly kissing her, good thing Daddy isn't around.

Elle went for her four month check up and Hans went for his two year. Elle is 15lbs, and 26 in. Hans is 34 lbs, but not sure the height. She just started teething so we always have to have a bib on her or there will be puddles.

Congrats Ethelyn and Dana on yours twin babies. They had a boy named Marshall (totally love the name) and girl named Charlotte Rose. Hope to see them soon!

This week I took Hans to Dogout my favorite place. I still love their turkey burgers, but it is sad because Bill no longer owns it. I miss seeing him when I stop by. Although Hans loves there food. Mark sometimes picks it up for us and brings it home. We decided to bring Daddy dinner since he has been working insane hours. While we were that way we went to Northbrook Court, which was my favorite mall, although I don't go to the mall to often. I would have to say my favorite now is Yorktown since they fixed it up and they have Von Maur! At Northbrook we went to play at the tree house. There was this 4 year old little girl who just loved Hans and followed him around at the end they hugged and kissed. I told the father he is going to have his hands full considering he had to adorable blond girls. I miss it although it has changed so much.

This is a caricature that was done of Hans at the Gymboree party. I think that Mark is definitely going to love it. If you notice Hans has a light saber in hand. The artist asked if Hans liked Thomas the train, which he doesn't care for. I told him what he really likes are his "guys" which are star wars figures. He was definitely curious about cat and the hat and Clifford. He wouldn't take his eyes off of them. He loves reading all of the cat and the hat books. When he chooses books he always pulls out at least one cat and hat book.

It was Gymboree's second anniversary so we went to celebrate with Dana and Andrew. Hans really enjoyed the art room he didn't want to go in at first, but once he did he stayed in there a while. So we bought some art smocks so we can finally put together his art easel. He enjoyed rolling on the paint most of all.

Andrew got a snake made for him by Gymbo the clown. Hans and Elle got balloons made but someone ran off with them.
Hans and I were playing while we waited to go to Gymboree this morning. We had to decided whether to go there or go to home depot to build. It was an easy decision after seeing what a great time he had when we went on Monday.
Ellie is today 4 Months.
